EXPLORUM offers multi-disciplinary hands-on workshops in a variety of settings: in the comfort of your own school or daycare during the school year or camps during PA days or holidays. Our programs can be personalised to meet your needs.
In-Class EXPLORation Workshops
Hands-on workshops offered to Grade 1 to 8 students during the school days to enrich your curriculum. Enhance your student's interest in STEAM activities through exciting yet educational workshops offered in the comfort of your school (no bussing or traffic to deal with).
Diversify your student's French vocabulary by offering them hands-on workshops on various subjects using the fun yet educational style of EXPLORUM.

Practical Information
Teachers: For Science workshops, please check a few example of experiments
- Grade level: Grades 1 to 8
- Workshop length: 30-90 minutes
- Workshop format: hands-on workshops
- Material and equipment: Schools are asked to supply basic material such as paper, scissors, bottles, markers, glue, flour, vinegar etc. (a detailed list will be shared ahead of time); more specialised material will be provided by EXPLORUM.
- Supervision: The teacher responsible for the science class shall be present during the workshop to assist students and the presenter during the experiments.
- School year dates: Monday to Friday during the school year
- School requirements: The room set-up and requirements will depend on each workshop. Experiments may require running water, heat, windows, electricity etc. The specific list follows the description of each program. Contact EXPLORUM if you wish to discuss these requirements prior to booking the programs.
- Price: $315/workshop for the first 18 students (based on their ages). $5 per additional student for up to 25 students). -10% for a group of 10 workshops booked at the same time.
STEM & STEAM after school
After-school care could be so much more with hands-on STEAM workshops that feed your kids' brains as well as their creativity! EXPLORUM will enrich your programming with fun, yet educational activities.
Offered in the afternoon at participating schools and daycares.

- Supervision: Supervisors/assistants will be necessary depending on the age/size of group
- Price: Rates depend on the duration, nature - virtual/in-person - and frequency of the workshops ($275-$350/workshop for up to 25 kids)

STEAM@Noon
Give your students science or DIY'Arts workshops: a series of easy-going workshops offered at noon in the comfort of your own school over the span of 6-12 weeks (length and dates to be arranged with school).

- Supervision: One or 2 parent/teacher volunteers are welcome if they wish to help the students during the experiments, but are not mandatory.

PA-Days
A day off doesn't mean no learning... EXPLORUM offers PA Day workshops at your schools and daycares. Your young explorers will carry out some fusion activities: a little bit of science, some art and just enough creativity to keep your children busy and happy!

Scientastic Saturdays

Fun and dynamic science experiments in French (with a bit of English) for your young "scientist!"
90-minute workshops offered in 6 to 8 week sessions on Saturday mornings in a fully equipped Science Lab where students have their own station with up-to-date science materials and equipment.
5- to 8-year-olds could make a liquid rainbow, concoct gooey slime, build planets or much more.
9- to 12-year olds could explore the principle of a catapult, pretend they are astronauts, build their own car among other experiments.
