The FUN Master will be joining us!!
Join us for a series of exciting STEAM workshops in French Saturday morning at Glendon!
Scientastic Saturdays are designed for curious kids aged 9–12 who love to explore, build, and discover through hands-on science, technology, engineeing, art, and math.
Each session is packed with interactive workshops based on the multi-disciplinary approach, designed to make learning fun and unforgettable.
Every activity is hands-on, encouraging children to explore concepts primarily through individual work and occasionally in small groups.

Featuring a MAGIC/STEM workshop with The FUN Master
Kaleidoscope – make your own kaleidoscope and understand the terms reflection and refraction of light while being captivated by the physics of the shimmering patterns on reflective surfaces.
Wind chime – Make your own wind chime to ward off spirits or birds (or siblings!), using various materials such as wood, metal, glass, or shells, to explore the impact of density, shape and matter on resonance.
Chlorophyll – extract chlorophyll, a vital substance of our ecosystem, from green leaves and compare it to the chlorophyll content in autumn leaves using UV light that exposes the characteristic fluorescence of chlorophyll.
That’s Chemistry – Through playful experiments, we will explore unique phenomena, including exothermic reactions, pH, cristallisation and phase changes.
My Car – Design and construct a vehicle, and understand how energy is converted into motion and how aerodynamics aid in their car’s speed.
