Celebrate your scientist-wannabe’s birthday with one of our fun experiments! Several themes to choose from, for your 5- to 12-year-olds’ special day! Their take-home items will double-up as a lootbag. Discover science within the arts and explore the arts in science projects!

  • Electric circuits (5-8 or 9-12 year-olds)*
  • String bowl (9-12 year-olds)

N.B. the workshops are adapted to the ages of the children

BOOKING
  • Ages: 5–12 year-olds
  • Workshop length: 30-90 minutes
  • Workshop format: hands-on activities with their item to takeaway
  • Group size: up to 15 children 
  • Material and equipment: Explorum supplies the necessary materials.
  • Supervision: Volunteers may be needed depending on the number of participants.
  • Room requirements: Tables and chairs. Some workshops require running water and a sink, electricity. We will advise you based on your choices.
  • Price: $425+HST/workshop * indicates an additional cost for materials

  • Room requirements: Tables and chairs. Some workshops require running water and a sink, electricity. We will advise you based on your choices.
